Synopsis
Rifting upstream from 2000 meters above sea level to 5000 meters, ‘World of Water’ encounters people and their culture, stories, histories and beliefs against the impossibly lush and breathtaking landscapes of southern Conchucos, Peru. Antonio, a carpenter, recounts how his ancestors used to call for water during droughts. Ninfa shows us how to make maize beer. Bebel, a film-maker, narrates an origin myth and Jose, a mountaineer describes how global warming is affecting his profession and the tranquil glaciers that give water to all the region.
