Palash flower (flame of forest) is abundant in the area and can easily be collected and kept in dry condition more than a year. The colour is extractable from both fresh and dry condition. Preparation of Floral Dye based scented Abir and Candle having special characteristics for the alternate income generation of the forest fringe villagers and one major step to help forest conservation indirectly. The whole hearted effort for establishing SMFEs in Seraikela Forest Division founds to be effective and one step ahead towards conservation of forests along with increase in the income of the dedicated JFMC and SHG members.
