It makes us feel good. We like to feel we’re making a difference.

But what if Charity does more harm than good?

Emergency aid during wars and disasters will always be needed but many question if charity is the right way to help in the long term.

A growing movement of non-profits, social entrepreneurs and civil society organisations are rejecting charity in favour dignity, sustainability and locally led development.

They’re leading the fight to put local communities back in control of their own destinies and say goodbye to the humiliation of handouts.
