Synopsis

Sinterklaas and Black Piet are a long standing Dutch tradition. Hundreds of black Piet's arrive in the Netherlands every year together with Sinterklaas from Spain. Except that the black Piets are not really black: they are white or coloured people painting themselves black. Some ethnic groups are offended by this tradition and demand change. This film explores how Sinterklaas and his side kick black Piet are dealing with this change.
