Bio
Daz Chandler is an Australian-born filmmaker and video artist with a background in broadcast journalism and presenting for television and radio.
Her work has screened at international film festivals throughout Europe, the United States and Australia and shown in galleries in Sydney, Newcastle, New York, Ramallah & Istanbul.
Daz’s main interest lies in material that challenges preconceived sociocultural & political notions and ideas and creates instances of social engagement, or points of connection between unlikely parties. She also enjoys developing projects that indulge her dark sense of humor and flirt with the surreal and unexpected.
She currently lives in Sydney with a cheese-loving hound called ‘Ellroy.’
