Film Presence is a boutique marketing and outreach company founded by Sara Kiener and Merrill Sterritt. We combine event-based theatrical screenings with strong outreach partnerships as well as social media to boost box office sales and maximize the word of mouth leading up to a theatrical engagement. Outreach projects previously managed by Film Presence include Frederick Wiseman’s La Danse, Nicole Opper’s Off and Running, Andrew Jacob’s Four Seasons Lodge, Tamra Davis’Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child, Yael Hersonski’s A Film Unfinished, Lucy Walker’s Waste Land, Doug Block's The Kids Grow Up and Howl by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman. Prior to co-founding Film Presence, Sara was the Manager of Exhibitor Relations at Magnolia Pictures where she worked on the theatrical marketing campaigns of over 30 films, including Oscar winning Man on Wire and internationally acclaimed Let The Right One In. Sara is also a galactic ambassador from a far far away universe; She comes in peace.
