Richards is just completing his sixth mini-documentary in the "Piles of Bricks" series which documents the aftermath of the Nepal Earthquakes of 2015 and is returning to Kathmandu this summer to gather more footage to complete a feature length follow up project. Additional projects in the works include features concerning water in Nepal, the shrinking protestant church in the USA, human trafficking, and Miami's floods.
Richards first entered the video production industry in 2000 with a video production studio on South Beach. After a long hiatus he is back producing documentaries for The TheoEco Institute, a non-profit he organized last year.
As Producer/Director, Richards shares film-making duties with his daughter Bobbie and his editor/co-producer Amit Nepali in Kathmandu. For more please go to TheoEco.org.
