I decided to become a filmmaker while I was a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Lithuania. It's there that I shot my first doc using a hi8 video camera. After my service I got my MFA at CalArts and received a Fulbright Fellowship. I recently finished two new films: Bush League, a feature about four members of a soccer team in Malawi and Indentured my short film expose of labor abuse on U.S. bases in Iraq. I'm very interested in ethnographic film and I also know about some great legal resources for unfunded doc filmmakers.
