I am drawn to stories about people who face their limits with dignity. I believe documentary film can be a valuable tool to inspire social change and promote appreciation of the numerous cultures around the world. I try to ask my audience to explore their values in my films and I hope for greater tolerance and understanding among people.

I am an adjunct professor at the University of Tampa. I have a background in radio production and have worked in fundraising and development for a variety of nonprofit organizations working in public broadcasting, at-risk youth, art, education and animals. I hold a M.F.A in documentary film from Wake Forest University; a M.A. in mass communications from the Documentary Institute, University of Florida; and a B.S. in communications media from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

I am currently working on a series of mini docs for nonprofits.
