My name is Jeff Dreyer. I'm a father of a Special Needs 22 yr old child. I'm so very tired of hearing the derogatory, demeaning and hurtful word "retard" being used so rampantly these days. I made an 18 minute documentary titled "it's Just Not Funny". The premise is to get the entertainment industry to take the word "retard" out of their scripts. The video was on YouTube for nine days only. It had almost 600 views though. I had over 30 wonderful comments on YouTube, and I received from across the country another 100 positive messages on my Face Book page and my email@example.com e-mail.
Here's the issue. The Special Olympics Southern Cal. made me take it down, because they said some of my content is negative towards the entertainment industry. That's the idea. Someone has to step up an speak out against the offenders that perpetuate this use. It's everywhere these days. TV, movies, talk shows, interviews et cetera. The person that edited it for me isn't interested in continuing with my project. I need someone to help me take the SOSC logo out of some of the footage, and remove their name from the credits. I then want to enter the documentary in some film festivals. If the right person with some horse power in the business viewed it, and they have a Special Needs child, sibling, relative or friend, the doc would catch fire. Then possibly we can make the doc larger and get some results. Anyone that would like to volunteer about five hours would certainly be included in the credits. I live in S. Orange County Cal. After speaking to a senior Police official who specializes in curbing sex trafficking in Israel, he revealed to me in a personal interview that trafficked women numbers are rising again, and this time, the traffickers are choosing South American women as their target.

I am interested in transcribing audio interviews for anybody. I worked for Filmmaker Magazine, and have a lot of experience in transcribing interviews that ran anywhere from 10 minutes to nearly two hours. I am very astute, and would transcribe it all, then listen to it again to catch anything that slipped by me. My fee would be $2 a minute, so if the interview is 30 minutes, it would be $60. However, I am open to negotiations.
