Hazel Wolf Environmental Film Festival Call for Films!

We're looking for the best in environmental documentaries, narratives, shorts, ad campaigns, PSAs, and new media. We welcome entries related to climate change, consumption, solutions, environmental justice, energy, transportation, sustainable living, food production, wildlife, oceans, rivers, forests, restoration, and other environmental topics. Films addressing social themes with an environmental component will also be considered.

This is our 10-year anniversary; entries that explore how environmental media and messaging have developed over that time (or generally) are also encouraged.

English or English subtitles only. While the maximum length for submissions is 90 minutes with rare exceptions, screening time is limited and shorter pieces may have a better chance of being accepted.

Selected films have the chance to become part of the "Best of Fest," approximately 10 films so honored after the festival based in large part on audience ratings.

Deadlines and entry fees are as follows:
By December 15: $25 (reg) $20 (student)
By January 15: $40 (reg) $30 (student)
By February 15 deadline: $50 (reg) $35 (student)

See our site for more information!

Hello doc community. I am new to D-word. This is my first posting.

Seeking an intern (20 hours/week) to help with distribution of my new film THE AXE IN THE ATTIC. Right person with enough experience, minimal pay. Dreaming for someone who wants to develop into a Producer to help with future projects.

AXE premiered at the New York Film Festival and is featured as the opening night screening for Boston's Human Rights Watch Film Festival at the MFA, January 16.

I recently relocated from Boston (hi Boston) to New York (hi NY). Temporary home office in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

Please send resume to: lucia@smallangstfilms.com

Welcome, Lucia. I'm not clear, are you thanking me for my support or imploring everyone else to thank me for their support? (Though people can certainly feel free to thank me for no reason whatsoever.)

Anyway, good to have you posting here at last. Now get your butt over to the Introduce Yourself topic and tell us all about yourself.
