n Peace We Trust is an inspiring half-hour documentary that explores the mission and philosophy of the Meta Peace Team, a group promoting non-violent alternatives for the past 25 years in both the United States and abroad. Co-founder C. Peter Dougherty, a peace activist who’s worked worldwide and won numerous awards for his peacemaking work shares the history and philosophy of the Meta Peace Team. Their philosophy of non-violence is further revealed through a series of interviews with MPT trainers, and footage of peace teams in action. MPT provides resources for citizens to become peacemakers hosting creative nonviolence training workshops for ordinary citizens with a framework of third-party nonviolent intervention. MPT pursues peace through active nonviolence, providing resources for citizens to identify and address their personal bias, and providing tools for peacemaking and creating alternatives to militarism MPT promotes and supports peace work - when invited- across the
