Itaru is exploring the relationship between human, the world, and films.

He changes his point of view together with the person concerned and stands steadily side by side. Therefore he operates, starting from writing the concept to filming and editing, all by himself. In doing so, he constructs an animistic way of filmmaking born out of Japanese thought.
