Bio
Destiny is a documentary filmmaker hailing from the mid-Atlantic with a developing eye for meaningful human-driven stories. For as long as she can remember, she’s been obsessed with little known worlds, the underground, and the niche. She holds a graduate certificate from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies. Her student film Welcome to King Friday’s Dungeon premiered at Camden International Film Festival in 2023.
Recently, she completed FilmNorth’s Inclusive & Socially Conscious Filmmaking Lab and UnionDocs’ Collaborative Studio Fellowship. Destiny is a proud member of Brown Girls Doc Mafia and a dog fanatic.
