Bio

I am a documentary filmmaker, photographer, and BFA graduate from American University, driven by a passion for uncovering untold stories and creating meaningful connections through visual storytelling. My work focuses on amplifying marginalized voices and examining the complexities of human experience, blending artistry with a commitment to social impact.
Throughout my career, I have explored diverse roles across filmmaking, journalism, and media production, earning recognition such as the Gold Award for Best Nonfiction Student Filmmaker in the Washington Metropolitan Area (The Television, Internet, and Video Association of DC), an Award of Recognition at the national IMPACT Documentary Awards, and a Student Emmy for my documentary The Mystery of the Freeway Phantom. Additionally, my film Jellyfish, an intimate exploration of post-college life and the search for purpose, won the Audience Award at the Long Island Youth Film Festival and has been showcased at independent theaters, including New York’s New Plaza Cinema.
Professionally, I have honed my craft in roles such as Junior Editor and Production Assistant at Meangreen Media, where I managed footage organization, researched and selected visual assets, and prepared content for digital distribution. I have also served as a writer, producer, and director on projects like Jellyfish and The Mystery of the Freeway Phantom. Each film reflects my ability to blend technical expertise—including video editing, sound design, motion graphics, and multi-cam editing—with storytelling that resonates deeply with audiences.
Currently, I work as a photojournalist at WPDE, where I manage solo video production from shooting to post-production while covering live events, city council meetings, and feature stories. I am also editing my documentary on the Cannes Film Festival, which delves into the unique dynamics of navigating its film market and industry landscape. My ongoing work aims to shed light on stories often overlooked, pushing the boundaries of documentary filmmaking.
Colleagues describe me as a detail-oriented, driven, and resourceful creative professional who brings both technical skill and artistic vision to every project. My goal is to create documentaries that spark meaningful conversations, connect audiences to untold narratives, and drive social change.
