Jeff is a multi-award-winning director/producer, originally from New York, now based in Australia. He started his career in documentary as a researcher for Ken Burns' Jazz series. His first feature THE 10 CONDITIONS OF LOVE (2009) made international headlines (NYTimes, Der Spiegel, The Australian, China Daily, CNN) after China’s repeated attempts to ban the film's global screenings. His feature doc MOTHER WITH A GUN (2017) about Jewish extremist violence screened on Netflix. His controversial, FAIR GAME (2018), sparked a sustained national discussion on racism in Australian sports. His multi-award winning feature doc TELEVISION EVENT (2021) premiered at Tribeca, has screened on PBS and is due for theatrical release in 2025.
